Job Responsibility:

Essential Functions:

• Assist in evaluating resident recreational needs
• Promote an meaningful and sensory stimulating environment to promote engagement for each resident
• Leads and/or participates in individual and group activities and programs
• Maintains records of activites and attendance
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with standards set out in Affinity Healthcare's Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, all federal and state laws and applicable professional standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. BS in Recreation preferred but not required
• Prior experience with traumatic brain injury preferred but not required
• Knowledge of activity program development
• Skills in the arts including music, art, crafts
• Skills in physical activity
• Enjoys working with those with physical and emotional disabilities
