Position: Varonis Engineer with Varonis certifications – VCA

Location:REMOTE

Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for the Compliance and Security Application tools support position at its center with deeper data security, reporting, compliance understanding, and experience in the Varonis Suite solution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Some College
• Varonis certifications – VCA*
• Previous experience managing, deploying, and designing the Varonis solutions
• 2+ years of cybersecurity technical experience and/or experience in a highly technical role

Experiences

Must Haves

• 2+ years of cybersecurity technical experience and/or experience in a highly technical role
• Previous experience managing, deploying, and designing the Varonis solutions
• Experience working in project environments & working to tight deadlines
• Server (Linux, NetApp, EMC, and /or Windows) or Security application Operations/Implementation experience
• Reporting experience – designing, producing, scheduling – Splunk, Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Compliance Regulations (SOX, PCI, CPNI, USGCPI, CMMS, etc.) and experience providing attestations to internal and external Auditors
• Exceptional customer service skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with incident handling for Security breaches
• Experience providing 24/7 support as part of rotating team coverage
• Change management experience (ITIL)
• Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of network and firewall connectivity
• Understanding of NTFS and NFS permissions
• Understanding of basic SQL commands
• Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Servers and Services
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Rubi, Shell

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
