Job Summary The Medical Device Security Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring that the medical devices are properly assessed for security vulnerabilities and remediated. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Device Security Analyst to join Harris Health cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of medical devices and related systems to protect patient data and ensure the safe operation of critical healthcare equipment. The Medical Device Security Analyst will work closely with biomedical engineers, and healthcare providers to assess, monitor, and enhance the security posture of medical devices. Works closely with biomedical teams to ensure medical equipment security audits, vulnerabilities, and compliance needs are met. Assist and provide support with detailed information security audit reviews to assess Harris Health System's compliance with federal and state regulations. These audits would include application audits, network reviews, and regulatory and other compliance reviews. Minimum Qualifications Degrees/Work Experience/School Education: a) Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related or equivalent work experience. Licenses & Certifications: a) Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE): ISACA must be obtained within 9 months if not held at time of appointment. Work Experience: a) 3 Years of Experience: Working in healthcare (preferred) b) 2 Years of Experience: Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security standards (preferred) Communication Skills: a) Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking) b) Writing/ Correspondence c) Writing/Reports Job Attributes Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: a) Analytical Abilities b) Other
