Job Responsibility:

A great UHY client is seeking a Senior HR Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone who can partner with strategy with the plant manager and be a solid leader for the HR Teams.

The Senior HR Managerrole is an onsite position with flexibility. This is a client direct hire position.

SR HR Manager Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support business objectives and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee morale and retention.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Lead the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies and support career growth and succession planning.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to plant leadership and supervisors on HR-related matters, including performance management and employee development.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team at the facility, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Sr HR Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Previous HR management experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience with HRIS systems, such as Workday or Oracle HCM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team
  • Experience with talent acquisition and performance management
  • Certification in HR (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
