Overview

We're looking for a talented motion designer to join our team and help us create even more compelling content. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates their skill in animation, typography, and design. They will be able to work independently to create motion graphics that meet the specific requirements of each project, while also being a team player who is willing to take direction and feedback. The motion designer will be responsible for creating engaging, visually stunning designs that align with a creative and marketing strategy to capture the attention of the viewer.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to receive and execute creative direction and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Create high quality graphics for a variety of animated projects. Must be comfortable with several skills such as rotoscoping, type animation, and mixed media. 3D skills aren't a must but highly encouraged.
  • Bring ideas and stories to life through strong visual design, typography, color, and animation.
  • Stay up to date on latest trends in motion design and animation.
  • Understand the technical limitations of various platforms and devices and create animations accordingly.
  • Balance multiple projects at various stages of development, while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Effectively communicate with other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Take initiative to troubleshoot problems and offer creative solutions.
  • Proactively seek out new techniques and software to improve workflow.
  • Continuously strive to improve skillset and push creative boundaries

Qualifications/Job Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with motion graphics
  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Creative storytelling ability through video and motion graphics
  • A strong portfolio of previous work
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, or related field
