Summary:

As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of various machinery and equipment used in our warehouse operations. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality are essential for the success of our business.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions:

Machine Operating (40%)

• Operate and oversee a variety of machinery and equipment within the warehouse, including but not limited to conveyor systems, packaging machines, and other material handling equipment
• Monitor machines during operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance, output, and quality
• Follow operating instructions and safety guidelines meticulously to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment or products
• Ensure all products are processed and handled according to established procedures, quality standards, and production schedules

Technical (45%)

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify any signs of malfunction, wear and tear, or other issues

• Report any machinery problems to your supervisor immediately
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing machine parts

Administrative (15%)

• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and ensure seamless operations

• Record production and machine operation data accurately, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations including health and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Machine operator training in a warehouse setting
