Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Chain Customer Support Specialist based out of Seattle, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and strengthen customer relationships, develops an understanding of customer culture and business strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to fact find and obtain solutions to resolve customer claims.
  • Collect supporting data and request documentation from customers through email and internal systems.
  • Direct discrepancies to internal teams responsible for action, monitor for updates, and escalate as needed.
  • Interact with internal partners through face-to-face/ virtual meetings, phone calls, emails and other media.
  • Use multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follow best practices and local work instructions in daily work; identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Responsible for managing own backlog and working with team to achieve Key Performance Indicator targets.
  • Respond timely to customer inquiries and advise customers regarding claim status and disposition.
  • Flexibility to provide on-site warehouse support to work with receiving, warehouse, quality and material departments to resolve material issues.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Seattle, WA. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Supply Chain
  • Ability to work and collaborate cross functionally across multiple organizations
  • Microsoft Suite Experience
  • Strong Communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and has strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • SAP knowledge
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Customer support experience

Typical Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED and typically 3 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
