Oversee contract and insurance administration-related functions. The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers.

  • Contract and Insurance Administrator reports to and works under the direction of the Controller
  • Oversees contracts through the full lifecycle including contract review and execution
  • Review contractual documents and performance requirements to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, customer specifications, conformance to agreements and accordance with legal requirements
  • Timely coordination of certificate of insurance process with vendor and requestor
  • Ensure timely insurance compliance with vendors, customers, and subcontractors
  • Identify problem areas and make recommendations for change, as appropriate
  • Coordinates internal teams to address terms and conditions, project scope, product, and other aspects of the contract
  • Researches medium to high-complexity matters and prepares recommended course of actions for Sales/Sales Operations Management consideration
  • Acts as an agent for the company by interfacing directly with customers and contract managers
  • Review and determine the feasibility of bids and ensure compliance with applicable Corporate guidelines and regulations following FAA requirements
  • Interpret contracts and document changes as appropriate
  • Respond to inquiries regarding contractual obligations and revisions.
  • Initiate documentation to authorize work in accordance with contractual specifications
  • Develop reporting as appropriate, identify problematic trends and make corrections as required by each situation
  • Respond promptly to managers' queries
  • Assists Finance and Accounting departments with various projects
  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Work Requirements

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Must be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 requirement
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times
  • Report to work at the designated start time. Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
  • Strictly adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability and desire to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Internal and external customer service oriented is required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to nature of working environment

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Requires proficient use of office equipment, Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the ability to work with various software programs that support business functions.
