Job Responsibility:
Levi Hospital is searching for a cook to join our Dietary Services department. A candidate will possess the following:
- Attention to detail
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to prepare food in accordance with the hospital menu and number of people to be served.
- Ability to follow a recipe and cook from scratch.
- Measuring and basic math skills.
- Experience cooking in a non-Fast-Food environment.
This position has exposure to extremes in noise and temperature, cleaning chemicals, and equipment as normally related to food service production areas. This job requires standing for prolonged periods and/or walking both short and long distances, bending, stooping, and stretching.
Prefer current Certified Dietary Manager certification or will to obtain within six months and Serve-Safe Certified.
This position requires Covid-19 vaccinations and is safety sensitive. Pre-employment drug screening, and background check required. EOE.
