Summary/Objective
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for accurate inputting and payment of all vendor invoices for all entities.

Essential Functions

Daily Strategic Focus
- Verify invoices against receipts and purchase order prices.
- Retrieve any information discrepancies from purchaser or vendors when necessary.
- Code and enter invoices into ERP system.
- Inputting weekly to ensure prompt payments.
- Process payments, discounts and credits for invoices due.
- Maintain accurate AP records
- Foster a positive work environment and culture.
- Maintain effective communication with company leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Physical Demands

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. While normal hours of work and days for LeClaire Manufacturing are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., hours for this position reflect administrative hours of 8 am - 5 pm but may vary based on job related requirements.
Travel
Travel as needed but infrequent.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, required
- Some college, preferred
- Three years accounting experience, required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Continuous learning and adaptability to keep up with evolving technologies.
- ERP experience is a plus.
