Job Responsibility:

Very busy Optometrist Office in Saratoga Springs is looking for an Optometric Receptionist for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities include:

- Scheduling patients in person and over phone, determine insurance coverage

- Enter patient information and posting charges into office software

- Screen patients before their procedures

- Provide visual fields, OCT, digital imaging and contact lens training

- Scan documents into patient records

- Perform a variety of office administrative duties

We value associates who have a passion for patient care and work well within a team environment. The perfect candidate will have optical experience or medical office experience and computer knowledge.

Qualifications- Medical office experience- Proficient in computer skills- Previous optical experience preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Detail-oriented and organized- Knowledge of insurance verification processes- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
