For additional information about APA Corporation, please visit: Portfolio Sustainability Investors www.apacorp.com Specific Responsibilities The Accounting Coordinator Lead for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache's Cash Application Team reporting to the Revenue Accounting & Cash Supervisor. This role will be primarily responsible for the following: Process daily cash receipts for Revenue and Marketing Accounting manage daily cash receipts and work closely with Revenue and Marketing Accounting to ensure cash is applied accurately and month end deadlines are met contact remitters for missing detail prepare intercompany journal entries scan check batch details Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Back-up for members on the team Work on special projects as requested by management, and Interface with multiple groups and individuals, both internal and external to Apache Corporation Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: 2 to 5 years of professional accounting experience in the oil & gas industry; High school diploma or equivalent; some college a plus; Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and TEAMS; Experience in SAP (FI and PRA), Quorum, and EnergyLink a plus; Basic knowledge of accounting and oil & gas industry terminology; Familiarity with check detail for royalty payments a plus; Outstanding communication, interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills; and, Must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet monthly deadlines.
