Full-TimeJob Duties/Scope Of Work Under minimal supervision, this position will be responsible for performing the following essential job duties:
- Perform complex clerical and administrative functions requiring creative thinking, excellent customer relations and a comprehensive knowledge of established procedures.
- Administer Hanford Patrol's annual review and publication processes for all Policies, Procedures, Post Orders, and other required documents.
- Compile input and edit procedures, work plans, Hanford Site forms in support of Hanford Patrol Operations.
- Maintain document records and ensure documents are uploaded into IDMS.
- The position will interface daily with Hanford Patrol Operations personnel.
- Ensure edited documents are accurate, clear, and concise; written in plain language and free of typographical, grammatical, spelling punctuation, formatting, and other errors.
Basic Qualifications -High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of experience in an administrative capacity (editing, document control or related field).
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience compiling and editing documents, such as policies, procedures and reports based on a wide verity of input.
- Must have experience working with styles, headers, templates, tables, links, and other word processing features within Microsoft Word.
- Possess strong writing and editing skills.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft office applications.

Desired Qualifications - Experience with records management including the use of IDMS and preparation of RIDS.
- Experience working with subject matter experts, bargaining unit employees, and the Department of Energy.
- Familiarity with Hanford correspondence, document control, publication systems and processes desired.
- Associate' s degree in computer science, business, or related degree, desired but not required for consideration.
