Responsibilities:
  • The Problem Manager assigns problem work roles, ensuring priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality of service have been met
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service and thorough analysis for critical and high priority problems that impact patient care, claims processing, and cemetery operations at a singular site, throughout a region, or across the country
  • Collect data and gathers information from various resources on the application, operating system, network, system
  • Perform sound research and analysis to identify customer requirements, identifies information gaps and requests for information, obtains required information to meet customer and leadership expectations
  • Take appropriate actions within the specified timeframes as defined in applicable policies, directives, regulations, guidelines, and service level agreements to address the customers' needs
  • Serve as a problem facilitator and advisor to the system owners that, identifies trends and areas where additional support may be needed
  • Maintain current knowledge on Problem Management policies, directives, and desktop procedures, to answer customer inquiries, execute the tasks associated with problem management
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing leadership throughout the Root Cause Analysis process to understand, document, and make recommendations to prevent critical IT service interruptions
  • Track installation and integration of systems fixes, updates, patches, and enhancements ensuring systems and network availability and functionality
  • Assess the technical expertise necessary to understand a given problem, gathers the technical subject experts, and leads the efforts for researching, evaluating, diagnosing, Problems causes, and provides corrective actions
  • identify alternate approaches to problem resolutions; frequently modifies and adapts precedent solutions to unique requirements to solve a wide variety of highly complex network and system related problems
Qualifications:
  • Must have experience with information technology problem management
  • Must have experience analyzing and identify customer requirements
  • Must have experience tracking installation integration of systems fixes, updates, patches, and enhancements ensuring systems and network availability and functionality
  • Must have experience documenting changes and problems and ability to update management on system outages and solutions
  • Innate/documented ability to translate project activities into executive-level reports, correspondence, and presentations
  • Previous experience with large scale deployment and migration of technology services across a large Enterprise
  • Experience and understanding of Infrastructure and applications
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, ServiceNow, SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in the use of various project management tracking tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with governance, quality management and oversight processes, policies and procedures
  • Highly flexible with appropriate sense of urgency and commitment for critical deliverables
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required
  • 10 years' experience (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (18 years total)

Clearance:

  • Ability to obtain Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) clearance

Location:

  • Remote, USA
  • Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CST)
Pay Range:
  • The pay for this position ranges from $47,240 to $87,500
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
