Data Quality Coordinator - Community Based Programs

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Data Quality Coordinator, the primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of data within the Community Based Programs division. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the data entry process and will work closely with several programs to establish and maintain data quality standards, monitor data entry, audit data records, perform data entry and enhance data reliability.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with data entry for the community based programs. Databases include eJustice, HMIS, Airtable and excel.
  • Provide primary data entry and quality for Jail Based Programs.
  • Assist with maintaining data entry quality control measures.
  • Assist with file and data audits to ensure programs are meeting VOA and funder standards.
  • Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established standards.
  • Regularly update and maintain existing data records. Monitor and address data inconsistencies.
  • Generate regular reports related to data and outcome to provide funders and audit internal data.
  • Work closely with program managers to understand data requirements and ensure data is entered according to those needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and work with VP on implementation.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in a related field a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry, with a track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong comfort level with computers, databases and computer programs.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of data quality best practices
  • Effective communication and team work
  • Understanding of data security and privacy regulations
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Clean NYS Driver's License
