Best Best & Krieger has an immediate need for a temporary Graphic Design Specialist to support the Marketing Technology Team by creating and refining graphic designs for marketing materials, website content, advertisements, social media and other communications. These designs are aligned with our firm's esteemed reputation, client-focused approach and the innovative new brand launched in 2023. The position will report to the Marketing Technology & Operations Senior Manager and will be initially part-time with an allocation of 20 hours. However, there is a possibility of exceeding or additional hours available as needed based on project demands and workload. The hours per day are flexible and may be dependent on the workload. Candidates residing within the Pacific time zone are preferred. The length of assignment is open ended.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce print and electronic advertisements, marketing brochures, announcements, invitations, newsletters, social media content, flyers, graphs, charts, signage and presentation materials.
- Learn essential brand standards and maintain brand consistency in all deliverables.
- Edit and produce social media video content for Instagram reels and LinkedIn postings.
- Retouch and resize photos, company logos and other artwork for inclusion in various media.
- Maintain files for artwork and photos.
- Communicate with other members of the Marketing team on an ongoing basis regarding status of projects.
- Responsible for prioritizing workload and communicating with internal customers.
- Maintain current awareness of desktop and web publishing techniques and technology trends.
- May be requested to perform other duties not listed above.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, CapCut or similar video editing platform.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience using Asana for project management a plus.
- HTML experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

- Exercise appropriate judgment regarding sensitive and confidential matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or Marketing, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Experience designing content for a law firm or other professional service organization.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Normal law office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
