About this Position An in-house digital-content team seeks highly motivated marketing writer with strong writing, editing, creative, and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment producing content for digital distribution on multiple platforms. **Please submit 3 samples of past work with applications*** This position can be hybrid or remote. The estimated salary range for this role: 85K-95K Responsibilities & Qualifications Our team produces high-quality work for a company that offers excellent corporate benefits and stability in an environment where writers may produce their best work. The job involves juggling multiple projects and working with tight deadlines. Our assignments are wide-ranging so flexibility is vital to the candidate's success. The ideal candidate is a creative, broad-thinker who can deliver creative, on-message copy for a variety of projects and be accountable for results. Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and coachability are essential. An outstanding candidate for this opportunity will have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years writing experience within an editorial organization, corporate marketing department or advertising/PR agency
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with digital platforms
  • Ability to quickly adapt writing style and “voice” to fit our unique company culture
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to work under strict deadline pressure, manage workflow and prioritize work
  • Self-starter who can take ownership of projects and complete tasks with a tight deadline
  • Excellent interviewing and information-gathering skills
  • Ability to interface with upper-level management and aptitude to take direction
  • Strong ability to think conceptually, strategically and work effectively across platforms
  • Professional demeanor with an ability to establish and maintain relationships with our sales force, clients, legal and business stakeholders
  • A team player capable of accepting and implementing critical feedback
  • Strong organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible while keeping keen attention to detail
