Through our partnerships, we enable companies to empower their employees with the data they need when and how they need it to better engage their customers, optimize their operations, and transform their products. Driving adoption of Snowflake product within customers with global delivery centers in India is also a critical part of this role.
Sr. Director, Partner Development Management leader role involves driving and nurturing relationships with our system integrator (SI) partners. Your primary objective is to strengthen and expand the collaboration between Snowflake and these SIs to drive mutual business growth.
In this role you will be responsible to lead the team of Partner Development Managers that drive our strategic relationships with our top partners. The success of these partnerships is demonstrated by driving growth with our joint customers, delivering key GTM programs, enabling partners to grow their capabilities and delivering customer success.
Your success depends on your ability to lead a team of skilled professionals, drive innovation, and deliver outcomes that meet customer needs through our SI partner ecosystem globally and specifically in the Americas. Strong communication, experienced channel leadership, and problem-solving skills are vital to excel in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Go-to-Market: Work closely with the SI partners to build comprehensive joint business plans. Collaborate on joint go-to-market strategies including strategic objectives and target markets. Define joint industry solutions and offerings with that demonstrates capability while differentiating the partner. Achieve partnership goals including sales quota and marketing activities; this is a quota carrying position.
Partnership Development: Inspire partners to grow their practices with Snowflake. Evaluate their expertise, capabilities, and reputation in the industry and activate the GTM programs accordingly. Define certification growth plans and support enablement of the partners. Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with key executives and decision-makers at the partners.
Results-oriented Leadership: Effective and proven leadership experience will be necessary to manage a team that consists of global partner managers as well as some focused on partners primarily in the Americas. Strong motivation skills, ability to grow talent and manage by goal-setting with consistent business reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as product development, sales, sales engineering, professional services and marketing, to ensure a seamless partner & customer experience. Share partner & customer feedback and insights with relevant teams to drive continuous improvement. You collaborate with a team of technical experts to drive solution building with our partners.
Co-Marketing Initiatives: Coordinate and execute co-marketing activities, including events, webinars, and content creation, to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
Deal Support: Assist the system integrators in navigating the sales process, including deal registration, pricing, and proposal support. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales cycle.
Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance and success of joint initiatives with system integrators. Analyze sales data, pipeline reports, and market trends to measure the effectiveness of the partnership.
Global Coordination: Ensure consistent communication and collaboration with system integrators across different regions. Understand and accommodate regional variations in business practices and market dynamics. Develop best practices to engage with GSI's, escalate issues and set expectations with GSI's on working with Snowflake
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 15 years of partner experience, sales, marketing, business development in technology & team leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years channel sales or channel program management experience with accountability for revenue targets
- Track record of success and established relationships with Snowflake's System Integrators.
- Working knowledge of Cloud environments is preferred
- Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, design and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use
- Strong executive presence and polish.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem solving skills and ability to organize priorities in a dynamic environment
- Travel Required: Estimated at 25-50% (variable)

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $241,000 - $367,500.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
