JOB TITLE: Director of Supply Chain
SUPERVISOR: CFO
HOURS PER WEEK: 40hrs (M-F)/Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Material Operations

HIRING BONUS: $1,000 after 90 days
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Position is responsible for all purchasing of supplies, maintenance of inventory, equipment, and services in the most cost-efficient manner.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (* Essential Functions) TPC123 1. Review all orders and issue purchase orders to the appropriate vendor.* 2. Use lean or comparable methodology maintain supply levels and minimize costs.* 3. Develop reporting for supplies costs transparency 4. Maintain new supply request process 5. Keep staff informed of new products and/or service brought to the clinic.* 6. Conduct bidding process to ensure best priced are obtained on all supplies, equipment and services.* 7. Report purchasing activities to CFO, including market trends potentially affecting the price and availability of goods and services used by the clinic. Recommend policies to accommodate these changes.* 8. Directs and supervises all activities relating to inventory control, outside courier, copy center, mail room, laundry, receiving, distribution and purchasing.* 9. Participate as a member of the Vizient and Premier buying groups.* 10. Maintain positive working relationship with vendors. Attend trade fairs and product shows when appropriate.* 11. Maintain the Materials Management information system.* 12. Attend work regularly as scheduled.* 13. Directly manage employees working in the capacity of Courier, Mailroom, Copy Center and Inventory Control.* 14. Work respectfully and collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.* 15. Participate as an active care team member in a patient-centered medical home. 16. Attend Supervisory meetings.

REQUIREMENTS: High school Diploma or equivalent
EDUCATION PREFERRED: Additional business courses
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS PREFERRED: Previous experience in purchasing and inventory management Strong organization skills Familiar with medical terminology Familiarity with medical equipment and supplies Ability to show sound judgment in making complex business decisions Leadership ability Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing Possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Ability to perform complex math computations Analytical skills Aptitude for working with figures
