This job posting will be used to conduct ongoing recruitment and will remain open until position has been filled.
Why does the job exist?
Processes a high volume of in-state/out-state travel reimbursements for a Division of 185 FTE's. This position is issued a P-Card for making hotel reservations for DHI staff and is responsible for reconciling P-Card statement each month. Tracking travel reimbursements on excel spreadsheet to report performance measures each month.
How does it get done?
This position provides support to the Division of Health Improvement with duties that may include processing payment vouchers, and preparing requisitions for all training and travel requests, auditing for discrepancies, correcting journal entries, maintaining and tracking fiscal records.
Who are the customers?
The customers are the Division of Health Improvement staff.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience processing in-state/out-state travel. Experience with state issued P-Card and reconciling monthly P-Card Statements. Advanced level experience in working with excel spreadsheets.
Minimum Qualification
High School Diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting and/or finance. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must Possess and maintain a current Defensive driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions
Office setting, attending meetings, visiting provider agencies, extensive computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
