About the role Engage2Excel is actively looking for a dynamic person to join our Human Resources team to fill a position for a Full-Time job as a
Payroll & Benefits Specialist that will be responsible for performing payroll processing activities, as well as benefits administration for our US divisions located in multiple states. The candidate must reside in the US and preferably located in the East Cost to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with the various time zones. As part of your primary responsibilities, you will do the following:- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll with ADP WFN system for U.S. employees accurately and on time while adhering to E2E Group's global processes and policies and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries and/or issues related to US payroll and benefits.
- Ensure that payroll tax returns and other government required reports are submitted.
- Administer employee benefit programs such as health insurance, disability insurance, FMLA, life insurance, workers compensation, employee assistance, retirement, 401(k) and other plans.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls. Collaborates with finance to reconcile payroll accounts. Prepare various reports for HR, Finance and Management as required.
This description is intended to give you a general overview of the position and is not an exhaustive listing of duties and responsibilities.To be successful in this role, you will have:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field with 3+ years of related experience in payroll and benefit management, preferably in a multi-state environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations
- Highly responsible, meticulous with excellent attention to details, organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a high level of proficiency in Excel.
