Gilbert, Arizona Work Type: Part Time POSITION SUMMARY The Worship Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the Creative Weekend Lead Director and the music team at Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC). In all actions they reflect the SVCC team leadership distinctives. This position is part-time at 28 hours per week. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage schedule and calendar for music team functions and meetings utilizing current software or database applications, as requested Oversee timeline of recurring music team meetings in conjunction with overall experience team calendar and teaching outline Maintain the onboarding process of volunteers and contractors, ensuring information is current and accurate Manage departmental billing for contractors, and application or subscription licenses, as needed Type, design, and distribute general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, forms, procedures, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy Develop, maintain, and update notes and documentation for the Creative Weekend Lead Director and the department and retrieve information from files, as needed Oversee green rooms across all campuses including scheduling of hospitality volunteers, maintaining current supplies (food, beverage, tableware, etc.) and ordering as needed Schedule and order catering for rehearsals and events MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent One year of administrative experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications Effective communication skills, both verbal and in written form Thorough, detail oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and adhere to tight deadlines Collaboration skills, teamwork orientation Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership Agrees and aligns with the mission, vision, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal statement of SVCC PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Two years of related experience Posting Created: Nov-01-2025
