Job Responsibility:
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an analytical, experienced and team-oriented Security Operations Center Manager to join our Cybersecurity Architecture & Operations team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the SOC including development of documentation such as operating procedures, playbooks, event handlers, notification and escalation procedures, shift management, incident response, threat intelligence, collection and reporting of metrics. This role supervises a diverse team of Security Analysts who provides dedicated "eyes on glass" monitoring and analysis capability for SOC operations. This leader focuses on the SOC but is also expected to provide leadership and guidance for areas outside day-to-day SOC duties.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (hours may vary)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in an information technology related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Preferred Security and Technical Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISCO, Microsoft, AWS, and/or other related Cybersecurity certifications.
- 5+ years of IT advanced experience in Networking, Server administration, or desktop support or similar technical role in large scale environments (500+ endpoints) required.
- 5-10+ years of experience in information security with at least 3 years managing a Security Operations Center (SOC) required.
- 2+ years of experience managing and responding to audit requests (Big 4 accounting firms or financial services experience preferred) required.
- 5+ years of experience being on-call and managing teams of on-call personnel required.
- Able to plan, organize and budget.
