Job Responsibility:

The Vice President, Retail Operations is the primary leader of the credit union's branch network operations. The Vice President ensures proper planning, growth, relevance, administration, and oversight of all KeyPoint branches and their personnel within the company's strategic plan, budget, and established policies and procedures. The Vice President will be integral in creating and executing plans to modernize our members' experiences with KeyPoint. We are making a concerted effort to serve all members well, but also to increase our relevance to millennials in their borrowing, savings, financial planning, and transactional needs. To do this well, we must transition from our traditional transaction-based model to a consultative, sales focused model. The Vice President must be a forward-thinking motivational change agent who can work with senior management, the lending department, and the Technology department and all assigned staff in the credit union to plan and execute our strategies. Maintaining high member satisfaction, excellent inter-departmental communication, and high employee morale are very important objectives for this position. Responsibilities:
  • Working with branch managers, oversee the day-to-day branch operations to ensure delivery of exceptional service. Ensure all branches operate efficiently and in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to ensure achievement of branch goals for new member acquisition, loan production, member engagement, and wealth management business.
  • Monitor statistics and reports, and work with branch managers to ensure achievement of assigned branch KPIs.
  • Work closely with the business development team to develop and execute strategies to promote the KeyPoint brand. Pursue strategies to drive market penetration and performance.
  • Champion the sales and service culture. Work closely with the training team and other business units to develop programs and strategies to optimize the NPS rating for branches. Ensure the achievement of sales KPIs.
  • Direct, monitor, and appraise the performance of individual branches and branch managers. Develop coaching and training plans to help branch managers optimize their performance.
  • Working with IT and other business unit leaders, develop and execute strategies to automate and modernize branch operations to enhance member experience.
  • Represent KeyPoint in its communities through industry, trade groups, chambers, and civic functions.
  • Participate in the development of the annual budget, strategic and business plan.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry status and trends.
  • Work closely with branches' critical third-party vendors to ensure efficient and effective branch operations. Serve as point-of-contact for all branch-related vendors and service providers.
  • Assume responsibility for branch-related projects and initiatives. Work with other business units to ensure successful execution of assigned projects and initiatives.
Physical Requirements: (Including lifting, sitting, walking, bending, reaching and squatting % of time in each function) Must be capable of working in an indoor office environment at designated corporate headquarters. Capable of standing 25% of time - lifting 30lbs. 4 hours/month - bending 25% of time - Reaching 25% of time- Squatting 25% of time. Capable of using stairs frequently. Ability to work a standard work shift. Ability to travel by car and plane. Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 10 years of industry-related experience including four years of senior management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation and written communication.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Target Pay: $140,132 - $210,198 / annual, plus potential manager bonus
